In Cserszegtomaj has around 2,800 inhabitants and you can easily do here your daily shopping, go to a restaurant, or enjoy a terrace. There is a GP in the village.
A few km away you will find the city of Keszthely and there everything you can expect from a city. From the large shopping chains, to sports facilities, a hospital, schools, a cozy centre etc. Keszthely is located directly on the Balaton, so a visit to the beach is easy. In Keszthely also the beautiful castle. Definitely worth a visit.
At 4-5 km you are in Hévíz, known for its thermal lake and therefore there is something to do in Hévíz all year round.
