The house is located in the small mountain village of Bekölce about 23km north of Eger city.
The village has local amenities such as a shops and pubs.
The house is a good size at 90m2.
It was constructed in about 1970 from sturdy stone foundations, and the walls are built from brick, very massive well maintained house.
There are 2 large main rooms, ante room, and a beautiful kitchen-eating room, pantry. Further to this there is a bathroom with a toilet. End of the house have barn, with a heating room.
Heating inside is provided by central heating.
Public mains utilities are connected such as electricity, water and sewerage. The telephone/internet/main gas can be connected from the street.
Outside the house the garden is a good size at 501m2 and will provide plenty of outside space to enjoy the summer months, with the amazing view!
The beautiful baroque city of Eger is about 15 minutes by car and has all the shopping facilities you would expect including a shopping mall, Tesco and Lidl supermarkets.
The city centre itself is a worth visiting to see the magnificent Basilica and the castle.
Visit the narrow alleyways in the inner part of Eger near the castle to find many cafes and traditional local shops. Famous spas of Eger and Egerszalók.
Budapest is about 2 hours from the property.
Beside its historic sights and its thermal baths, Eger is famous for its wines. It produces both red and white wines of high quality. The famous and traditional varieties of the region are Egri Leányka, Egerszóláti Olaszrizling, Debroi Hárslevelu (whites), and Egri Bikavér (a red). More recently, Chardonnay and Pinot noir wines have appeared. The region's wines are said to bear a resemblance to those of Burgundy.
The Bükk national park and the protected area of Lázberci are all close by as is the skiing resort of bankut.
If mountain walks, nature reserves, fishing, sightseeing, and glorious countryside are what you like then this area will certainly be of great interest as a holiday destination or for permanent living
